Report: Maersk

Report: visit to Maersk  On Wednesday 13th of January, the members of Trade & Transport Law Association had the opportunity to visit the leading shipping company in the world, Maersk Line. After a warm welcome at the Rotterdam office, the program continued with an interesting presentation about the company profile and the key elements of Maersk’s success.  Furthermore, the Maersk Trainee Program was highlighted, which was a real motivation for our members. We ended up having drinks with several employees of Maersk, which was an exceptional opportunity to get to know them first hand.   We would like to thank Siebe Teppema (Commercial Trainee), Niek Minderhoud (Marketing Manager), Harun Wardak (Trade Manager) for this amazing program and we are all looking forward to the visit with our second group. Visit to Maersk

Visit to Maersk   The Trade & Transport Law Association organizes a visit to Maersk (Rotterdam offices) on Wednesday 13th of January. Unfortunately there are only 13 places available. Monthly report

LinkedIn workshop On 16th November, the TTLA members had the opportunity to participate in our LinkedIn workshop and get a professional photo for their profiles. The social media expert Jan-Willem Alphenaar gave an insightful lecture about the use of LinkedIn and provided us with 20 tips  to further develop our profiles. We would like to thank our mentor Mrs Emily Derogee, the program coordinator Mrs Frauke de Vries and our dedicated members for their attendance in the workshop. Last but not least, we would like to thank Nina Saletovic Durbuzovic for her valuable support in members’ photoshoot.    Peace Palace Library  On 27th November, TTLA organized a visit to Peace Palace. After a short lecture, we had the opportunity to visit the Library, with its collection of one million books on international law.
